Greens MPs Sue Pennicuik and Colleen Hartland will attend the emergency rally at 12pm in Treasury Gardens tomorrow in support of TAFE staff and students, in response to last week's secret cabinet documents.
"Secret cabinet documents revealed to the ABC last week, reveal the true impact of the Baillieu Government's devastating $300 million TAFE cuts. There will be campus closures, job losses, more courses cut and further increases to fees for students if these cuts are allowed to proceed,” Greens spokesperson for Education," Ms Pennicuik said.

"The $300 million cuts to TAFE are a devastating blow for students, parents, workers and the Victorian economy."
"The cuts to TAFE are completely unnecessary - it has been the 310% growth in enrolments in private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that has blown the VET budget, not public TAFEs," Ms Pennicuik said.
"Many private trainers have been reported as rorting the system, but the government would not support a parliamentary inquiry that I called for last week."
