"Beat Roots" - Local Greens Footscray Fundraiser

A multi-cultural night of reggae, African drumming, comedy and slam poetry. A fundraiser for local Greens for Maribyrnong Council elections as well as the launch of our local government live music policy.

Deakin University Greens
 
There is currently a process underway to get a Greens club up and running on campus at Deakin University.  The benefits of forming such a club are numerous, from being able to help candidates with campaigning in key seats at election time, to acting as a recruiting mechanism by which to get more members for the party, to getting Greens people empowered on important issues and causes our party is passionate about.
The goal is to have a club that’s formed and fully functioning by the start of the 2013 academic year.
We would love for more people to get involved, therefore if you are a currently enrolled Deakin student interested in helping to make a strong Greens presence on campus a reality, or may be able to assist in some other way, please contact Richard Cranston on richard.cranston07@gmail.com

Make sure you add a payment reference
with your name and the wine you are ordering so we can match it to the email. Write out an order with the same details as above and mail it to Bill at 4 Camino Terrace East Malvern 3145 with a cheque payable to “Australian Greens - Victoria Stonnington Branch”. Fine Wines For Sale

To support the 2012 Moreland Council election campaign and 2013 federal campaign, the Moreland Greens are selling some good quality wines from the Greens-friendly Welshman’s Reef Winery near Newstead in the Goldfields region. On sale are the Welshman’s Reef 2010 Shiraz and 2011 Chardonnay at $145 per case of 12.  Mixed cases of 6 Shiraz and 6 Chardonnay are also available. Most cases contain bottles carrying commemorative labels (Moreland Greens Tenth Anniversary), but there is also an unlabelled option. (Some customers like to produce  their own labels, then present bottles to friends as gifts).  These Welshman’s Reef wines are perfect for celebrating Greens’ successes in the 2012 Local Government, 2013 Federal and 2014 State elections.
