When we have control over our own future, our health, education potential and economic prosperity all improve – no matter who we are. It’s the right to self-determination.

Recognising that control of land is the basis for self-determination, we should complete all outstanding native title claims in Victoria within 5 years.

And when government supports Victoria's Indigenous peoples to take real control of their own affairs, then we will see a closing of the gap in all areas of Indigenous disadvantage – forever.
