The experiences of children will affect them for the rest of their lives. The Government has a mandate to protect our children, preventing exposure of some of the most vulnerable to further abuse. This abuse leads to intergenerational social problems that continue to result in hopelessness and despair for tens of thousands of Victorians. Government policy in the area of Child Protection & Out of Home Care is vital in ensuring the continued well-being of our community.
