Our industries have changed a lot in recent decades and they will keep changing.  Climate change presents a real challenge for energy intensive industries. While we export raw commodities, our skills and knowledge often disappears overseas. 

Investing in skills and research and development is one of the best ways for us to secure our future economic base.
