The preciousness of human life is something on which all religions and cultures agree.
The Greens also value the freedom of conscience, the freedom of expression, and the right of each individual to make informed choices about all matters that affect them.
We need to be able to protect ourselves from the intense and unnecessary suffering that a terminal or advanced incurable illness brings.
In the next Parliament, I want the Law Reform Commission to compose how a dying with dignity law will look and present it to the Parliament. We need our MPs to represent the 84% of Victorians who support voluntary euthanasia for the terminally ill.
